Week Thirteen

Posted by: feedwordpress

During the disucssion in class last week about mining in Latin America, its effects and the peoples’ reponses I think we touched on, or at least started to, the general topic of this week’s reading which seemed to mainly focus on the continued expoitation of Latin America. I focused mainly on the Lago Agrio Case … Continue reading "Week Thirteen" read full post >>

When watching the videos about the surge of left learning governments in Latin America, I couldn’t help but think of the hypocrisy of some leftist movements. Recently, […] read full post >>

The Means Justifying the Ends

Posted by: feedwordpress

Throughout the term, we have painted quite the dismal picture of Latin America. It is as if Latin America has not gotten a single break since Columbus set foot on this side of the world. Given what we’ve learned about Latin America, especially in relation to its genesis and development, it seems that it is… Continue reading The Means Justifying the Ends read full post >>

Posted by: feedwordpress

Max Cameron is so positive this week! I feel like he was delivering his interview responses with a small smile and a twinkle in his eye. Though we definitely have to be cautious that we don’t paint the future with … Continue reading read full post >>
