A few reminders for this week:
- From now on, we will generally be meeting only on Thursdays. I’m happy to revisit this policy if anyone wishes (I’d be delighted to see you on Tuesdays, too!), but the thinking behind this is that you have plenty to be doing out of class, such as watching the lecture videos.
- As a result, your blog postings are now due on Wednesday night. Obviously, if you want to write them earlier that’s fine, too. And then comments are due within the following couple of days.
- We are now starting on material covered by Alexander Dawson’s textbook. Make sure you have your copy and bring it to class.
- For this week, we also have a conversation with Max Cameron (of UBC’s Political Science department) for you to watch as preparation for class.
